The environment.

This is our philosophy – to protect our environment and protect the fruit that it bears.  It’s that simple. We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure our land is as natural as it can be.
 
The environment does not stop at the edges of our catchment area and neither does our care for it.  In addition to the high degree of effort that goes into looking after our land, we have also been improving the way we work to be as efficient as possible.
 
As part of this focus we were the first bottled water producer to join EMAS – the voluntary eco-management and audit scheme.  This scheme ensures that we follow a code of practice dedicated to meeting legal requirements. We do this and go far beyond what is required to ensure maximum protection for the environment.
 
This scheme is really important to us because environmental cause and effect is real – we are careful about what we may put into the environment in order to protect the quality of what we take out.  When you live in towns and cities it’s often more difficult to see this happening.  But if you consider the lifecycle of all the little drops of rain that fall on our land then perhaps the importance of caring for our world becomes a little clearer.
