Terms & Conditions

1. Open to residents of the UK, IOM, ROI and CI only except employees and their immediate families of Highland Spring Ltd, its agents and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion. Bulk entries or those sent via third parties will not be accepted.
2. Entrants under 18 require parental/guardian’s permission to take part.
3. Web entries and postal entries only from the CI, ROI and the IOM.
4. Draw closes 31.03.2010.
5. For your chance to win 1 of 4 sets of bikes for the family and a VIP day with Chris Hoy at Manchester Velodrome, or one of 1000 Highland Spring cycling kits:
   1. Text HOY along with your name, house number and postcode to 84433. Text messages will be charged at your usual standard network tariff, typically 10-12p. Please note that text-inclusive packages may not include these texts. The owner of the mobile phone that the text entry has been sent from is the winner of the prize. One entry per mobile number per day will be accepted. Entries from inside the UK only will be accepted.
   2. Visit www.getingearwithchris.com and register your details. Online entries are limited to one entry per day per email address.
   3. Post your entry to Get in Gear, 23 Alva Street, Edinburgh EH2 4PS. One postal entry per person per day will be accepted.
6. No responsibility can be accepted for system failure or anything else that prevents entries being received. No responsibility can be taken for lost, delayed, damaged or misplaced entries. Proof of entry/posting is not proof of receipt.
7. The prizes available consist of:
FIRST PRIZE – 1 of 4 sets of bikes for the family complete with a VIP Day with Chris Hoy at the Manchester Velodrome. Family bike sets will be presented in the form of a voucher to the value of £1,200 per set to be redeemed at any UK Halfords store. The VIP Day consists of return travel for 4 families of 4 people to Manchester, flights and transfers as applicable, the use of bikes, helmets and shoes on the training day and the following activity:
1. An introduction from Chris Hoy
2. An hour of cycling on the track
3. Final competition to beat the time set by Chris Hoy
RUNNER UP PRIZES – 1,000 x cycling kits consisting of a cycling computer, water bottle and reflective drawstring bag.
8. The activities may be subject to change dependent on Team GB commitments on the day.
9. The prizes are as stated and there are no cash or other alternatives available.
10. Only those aged 9 and over will be allowed on the Velodrome track – those aged under 9 will be provided with alternative entertainment at the Velodrome on the day.
11. Date and time of the VIP day with Chris Hoy are to be confirmed at a later date.
12. You acknowledge that Chris Hoy’s ability to attend the training day shall be subject at all times to his professional commitments. If Chris becomes unable to attend because of illness or his professional commitments, the event will need to be rearranged.
13. The prize-winners and any persons attending the training day with Chris will be entitled to take still photographs of Chris at the training day for personal reasons only and will be required to sign a photo usage agreement in relation to their attendance at the training day.
14. Actual cycling kit items may differ slightly from those shown.
15. The winners’ names and images may be used in subsequent articles for trade press/publicity.
16. The winners will be drawn under independent supervision and notified initially by email, SMS, telephone or in writing within 28 days of the closing date.
17. The winners’ names and counties will be made available after the closing date by sending a SAE marked Get in Gear to 23 Alva Street, Edinburgh EH2 4PS.
18. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for loss or injury sustained as a result of promotional participation.
19. The Promoter’s decision regarding all promotional matters will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
